Rio Tinto are expanding operations in the Pilbara to epic proportions while introducing next generation technologies to deliver greater efficiency, lower production costs and improved health, safety and environmental performance.About the role:WorkPac are seeking an experienced Senior Advisor Program Management for our leading client in Perth. The successful candidate will work in their Maintenance Planning and Engineering department working a Monday to Friday day shift only roster. RTIO operates three autonomous systems, comprising two OEM systems and one internally developed system, which are deployed across a fleet of large haul trucks and production drills. While the deployment activities are ongoing, encompassing the conversion of remaining sites and the construction of new ones, the integration of autonomous technology into our operations has transitioned into a routine aspect of our business operations.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Program oversight: oversee the execution of programs to ensure they are on schedule, within scope and meet quality standards. Monitor and evaluate program performance and effectiveness. Identify and address potential risks and issues.Stakeholder management: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations. Communicate program objectives, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.Compliance: Ensure that programs adhere to relevant regulations, policies, and standards.Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the program management function.Reporting and documentation: Prepare and present regular reports on program status, milestones, and key performance indicators. Maintain accurate and comprehensive program documentation.Accountabilities: Primary responsibilities include logistics, planning and coordinating various autonomy and technology programs with both internal and external stakeholders who regularly engage via events such as Monthly Technology Integration Steercos, Quarterly AHS Safety and Productivity Steercos and Monthly AHS Working Groups.Skills and Experience:Qualification in business administration or engineering or project management or similar disciplinePrevious experience business improvement initiatives required.Previous experience in similar role such as process improvement analyst, project manager, operations manager, consultant, or similar positions where individuals have had hands-on involvement in improving business processes and performance.About WorkPac:WorkPac is Australia's largest privately owned workforce services business with over 1.3 million registered candidates.
