You will advance the delivery of a Talent Acquisition service and be responsible for supporting senior management with the end-to-end attraction, sourcing, onboarding and Retention processes and best-practice initiatives to the National Injury Insurance Agency, Queensland (NIISQ Agency), Motor Accident Insurance Commission (MAIC) and Nominal Defendant (ND) (collectively referred to as the Motor Accident Insurance Schemes Queensland or MAIS-Q).
In this role, you will:
• Provide advice (ensuring compliant and best-practice approaches) and support on role descriptions, employee screening, interviewing, assessments, pre- employment checks and talent retention solutions that deliver a sustainable workforce and team fit for the organisation.
• Gather and maintain high level of market knowledge on recruitment trends, skills shortages, risks and opportunities, including partnerships to make better recruitment strategy and talent decisions. Ensure continuous improvement of all processes/methodologies accordingly.
• Deliver customised recruitment campaigns to effectively source, screen and appoint talent that compliments the team dynamic, capability and ultimately contributes to enhanced team performance.
• Deliver, manage and embed a variety of work experience student and graduate programs ensuring learning outcomes are delivered for the individual and agency with supports such an onboarding.
• Support and guide senior management and hiring managers in ensuring contemporary approaches are undertaken in relation to Talent Acquisition including equity, diversity and inclusion, whilst providing process and administrative support to key/ critical recruitment campaigns and Retention initiatives, aligned to development plans.
• Represent MAISQ interests at meetings and forums, including job fairs and conferences to appropriately market and champion working in the agency.
What experience you will bring:
• Experience developing and implementing Talent Acquisition, onboarding and Retention initiatives, career expo/job fair representation and recruitment marketing materials and business processes.
• Strong relationship and partnership skills, mentoring, teaching and training skills in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
• Advanced organisational abilities to provide efficient and high- quality service outputs in a dynamic environment.
• Collaborative, autonomous and agile working style and approach.
Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, however, relevant qualifications are highly regarded.
