About the role
Seeking a permanent part time Grade 3Allied Health Professional to work in the General Paediatric Outpatient Clinic. This new role has been created to support growth in the Barwon Region Adolescent and Child Health Service (BRANCHS) clinic. This is a fantastic opportunity for an Allied Health Professional wanting to work in close consultation with Barwon Health's Paediatric team and to consult and collaborate with Allied Health professionals providing paediatrics services throughout the region.
Work with nursing and medical staff in the BRANCHS clinic as an access navigator - triaging and redirecting/supporting referrals and families, to ensure right care, right place, right time. A key responsibility of this role will be the assessment and coordination of the Allied Health needs of paediatric patients attending the clinics.
This position is 0.8FTE in total and would suit Allied Health Professionals from the following disciplines: Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Audiology, Dietetics, and Psychology.
