Senior Analyst,
Exposure Management will be responsible for assisting in the efficient implementation of investment decisions, monitoring of Option level exposures and managing allocations between physical and synthetic portfolios.

The
Exposure Management team is responsible for:
- Managing Equity and Fixed Income Transitions
- Monitoring and rebalancing asset and currency exposures to defined targets
- Implementing accurate and efficient asset allocation and active decisions
- Designing and implementing rebalancing and implementation policies
- Making Capital Allocation decisions between physical and synthetic portfolios with different liquidity and strategic profiles
Your new roleAssisting with key
Exposure Management and capital management duties, which include:
- Modelling and analysing asset and liquidity profiles of investment portfolios
- Monitoring daily market exposures and risks across Currency Hedging, Fixed Income Completion and Asset Class Mix overlay portfolios
- Monitoring, reviewing and analysing performance of overlay portfolios versus mandate objectives
- Managing exposures and risks resulting from change related activities, including manager funding and transitions
- Preparing recommendations for rebalancing actions as well as capital allocation decisions
- Creating required trade instructions to effectively manage overlay portfolios in line with prescribed mandates and objectives
- Supporting and participating in the goal of increasing tax awareness in Investments, through understanding tax treatment of different instruments across our asset classes and the impact of capital movement activities
- Supporting coordination between the Liquidity & Implementation team and stakeholders within Investments and the broader Fund. This includes attendance at key management forums and serving as a liaison for ad hoc requests of the team
- Working closely with internal stakeholders, including Asset Allocation, Asset Classes and Cash teams to understand investment strategies, how they can be supported and their impacts on available liquidity and liquidity needs
- Collaborating with Implementation colleagues, including Dealing, to understand market and trading conditions and constraints, to enhance overall efficient implementation activities
- Implementing strong risk controls on processes, policies and systems to ensure breaches are limited; actively contributing to a team culture of compliance and risk management awareness and appreciation
- Ensuring appropriate and relevant governance structures, policies and processes are followed and ensuring risk is managed in accordance with the Fund's Risk Management Framework.
What you'll need- Previous experience in asset management or overlay/Exposure Management
- Strong understanding of investment principles, investment instruments and financial markets, particularly futures, currency and other derivative instruments
- Understanding of portfolio construction and/or capital management principles desirable
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and across a range of stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Advanced use of MS Office products, particularly Excel and macros
- Previous experience with BRS Aladdin desirable
- Superior tertiary qualifications in Finance, Mathematics, Economics or related field
- Additional industry accreditation - eg working towards the CFA designation
