ABOUT YOUR TEAM
The Finance Strategy and Partners team are responsible for:
- Maximising the financial and commercial outcomes of our Strategic Partnerships primarily with TCCC and MEC;
- Consolidation of NARTD DME, aligning with Business Partnering teams;
- Management of the NPD value chains for NARTD and Alcohol.
The NPD arm of the team are the primary contact for financial and commercial support throughout the New Product Development [NPD] process within the Australian business. They play a leading role in ensuring the value chains used in the NPD process enable effective decision making around our NPD pipeline. They are also involved with the delivery of adhoc projects as required.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
Reporting directly to the Senior Manager Strategy & Partners, the Senior Analyst-NPD is responsible for partnering the business to formulate New Product Developments that are aligned to our strategy and deliver a commercial return.
In this role, the Senior Analyst will provide end to end commercial and financial support to the Sales and Marketing teams for the NARTD & Alcohol portfolios. They will be involved in cross-functional business partnering and the formulation of value chains. It is an expectation that they will challenge the status quo, identify and drive process improvement, and provide insightful analysis to enable effective decision making.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Provide trusted financial advice to key stakeholders to manage the NPD commercial process for the Beverages portfolio.
- Responsible for collaborating with cross functional teams across both CCEP as well as Brand Partners to deliver commercial analysis and decision support to help drive better investment decisions.
- Assist with preparation of analysis and reports for monthly business routines with key stakeholders.
- Lead the sales alignment meeting in which project feedback and inputs are collated and inputted into NPD model.
- Produce value-adding analysis around measurement and evaluation of our NPD pipeline, driving towards maximizing learnings through the Post Launch Review (PLR) process, instilling a continuous improvement culture, and increasing commercial acumen with non-finance stakeholders.
- Build a strong understanding and knowledge of the NPD process to provide meaningful, actionable and timely insights to the AusBev business.
- Act as a point of escalation for resolution of stakeholder enquiries.
- Regular stakeholder sessions to agree joint priorities, identify key deliverables to support these priorities, including what won’t be done.
- Continuous improvement of processes and tools that enhance and drive value through the NPD process.
- Assist the Senior Manager Strategy & Partners with the completion of ad hoc analysis and projects to support the AusBev business.

- 3+ years commercial experience.
- University degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting required.
- Post graduate qualification (CA/CPA preferred).
- Advanced analytical thinking capability coupled with demonstrated advanced Excel and modelling skills.
- Proven experience in providing sound commercial advice and influencing commercial outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to think through options, build economically sound business cases and influence outcomes and challenging decisions appropriately using fact-based data.
- Communicates effectively and assertively in high risk situations to resolve complex and/or sensitive issues and build consensus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information simply.
- Proven capability in building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders understanding the objectives of all parties and identifying the associated risk and opportunities.
- Ability to drive cross functional initiatives across the business to create value.
- Works in ways that are efficient and effective. Considers people, task and process in all that we do. Uses own time and the time of others wisely. Understands how to get things done at CCEP and organises work and routines effectively.
- Effectively manage change management along with potential conflicts to maximise acceptance, cooperation and achieve business objectives.
