Join Our Team As Senior Android Engineer
Develop feature-rich Android applications for mobile, tablet, and TV.
Employ best practices to create scalable, maintainable, and performant code.
Integrate with backend services to retrieve and display dynamic content.
Work closely with Product, Design, and QA teams to deliver the best user experience.
Collaborate with Frontend and Backend Engineers to ensure quality and consistency.
Mentor junior team members, review their code, and guide their development.
Ensure optimal performance of the applications on various Android devices.
Monitor application performance metrics and troubleshoot any issues.
Keep up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, tools, and best practices.
Evaluate new technologies and methods to improve the development process and application performance.
Develop and implement unit and UI tests to ensure robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Collaborate with QA teams to fix bugs and improve application performance.
Skills and Experiences We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
5+ years of proven experience in Android application development.
Strong proficiency with Kotlin.
Extensive experience with Android SDK, Android Studio, and other relevant tools.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect applications to back-end services.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Knowledge of modern architectural patterns, such as MVVM and MVI.
Strong understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Past work with popular Android libraries such as Retrofit, Dagger/Hilt, RxJava, or Coroutine.
Experience with developing applications for Android TV.
Experience with streaming technologies and media playback.
