They're a key player in the industry and are committed to driving forward thinking initiatives that shape the future of connectivity and communication.The RoleWe're looking for a seasoned Staff or Principal Engineer with skills in Android Development to join the team at one of Australia's leading telecommunication outfits. The team is working on the flagship application ensuring high quality enhancement the brand and the digital experience for their customers. This contract role offers excellent opportunities for in-the-room career development and make connections with industry leaders.You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Designers and other senior stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver solutions that achieve business objectives and customer needs.As an experienced Staff Engineer, you'll advocate for Android development within the organisation, ensuring QA practices including code reviews, testing and debugging.The RequirementsAlongside over 5 years of commercial Android development experiment, you'll be able to demonstrate the following:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field
• Experience with Agile methodologies, CI/CD principles, and version control systems (eg. Git)
• Expertise in Android development using Kotlin &/or Java, with a deep understanding of Android SDK, architecture patterns (MVVM , MVP) and best practices
