Your new role
As a J2EE Application Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing high-performance, scalable applications on Linux platforms. You'll work closely with product owners, network administrators, testers, and analysts to deliver top-quality solutions that enhance user satisfaction.
This role will see you participate in the :
- Design and Develop: Create robust, maintainable J2EE applications that meet performance and scalability requirements.
- Agile Collaboration: Contribute to Scrum ceremonies, fostering a culture of agility and continuous improvement.
- Full Software Lifecycle: From requirements gathering to post-production support, you'll be involved every step of the way.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with product owners, promoting the benefits of online services.
- Sustainable Practices: Embrace domain-driven design, test-driven development, and code reviews.
- Knowledge Transfer: Ensure smooth knowledge transition to APS managers and colleagues.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll need an active AGSVA Baseline security clearance as well as the following technical experience:
- Strong experience in architecting, implementing, and managing scalable Spring Boot or J2EE applications on Linux platforms.
- Proficiency in Java, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOAP/REST), web technologies (Bootstrap, Thymeleaf, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery), build tools (Maven), and IDEs (IntelliJ).
- Familiarity with automated testing (JUnit, Test NG) and source control (GitHub).
