The role will focus on Operating System deployment and configuration of Standard Operating Environments to all ACT Government supported environments and will join the End User Services team to provide technical support to staff and customers.
Key responsibilities for this role:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance the SOE in a desktop operating environment including the distribution of applications.
- Develop and implement enterprise level automation solutions to replace repetitive tasks and processes.
- Support infrastructure such as Group Policy, Intune, and login scripts.
- Develop and support in-house developed multi-tiered application along with the understanding of current application development practices.
- Develop and maintain relevant documentation as required for the QMS.
- Design, develop, and implement tools for data collection and automation of endpoint devices.
Key requirements for this role:
- Demonstrated experience in SOEdevelopment, deployment technology and Group Policy management
- High level of SQLskills to support the development of a multi-tier application
- Demonstrated high level technical achievement in a large Microsoft environment including the ability to troubleshoot issues and develop appropriate solutions to problems.
- Demonstrated experience developing code using the following languages: SQL, C#. .NET, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Demonstrated high level technical achievement in a large Microsoft environments
- Ability to automate tasks using Visual Basic and PowerShell with use of platforms such as MicrosoftAzure and MicrosoftOrchestrator.
