Key Tasks/Duties/Requirements - EL1 Senior Application Packaging Engineer
• Automate the installation and configuration of Windows applications (package), configure security patch delivery, Windows feature updates, drivers, language packs, and vulnerability fixes for both windows servers and desktop in a format compatible with Intune and SCCM.
• Design, develop, coordinate, and manage Application Packaging projects.
• Package applications and software updates using a scripting language.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis and remediation efforts on major Windows
Application Packaging and deployments.
• Diagnose Windows application deployment issues and coordinate package
improvements/fixes
Mandatory Criteria
1. Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in Automate the installation and configuration of Windows applications (package), configure security patch delivery, Windows feature updates, drivers, language packs, and vulnerability fixes for both windows servers and desktop in a format compatible with Intune and SCCM.
2. Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the design, develop, coordinate, and manage Application Packaging projects.
3. Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the package applications and software
updates using a scripting language.
Weighted Criteria
1. Enterprise knowledge of Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Image
Management, Application Packaging & Distribution, performance monitoring tools in a large, distributed environment.
2. Demonstrated experience in Active Directory / Intune/ DHCP / DNS / Group
Policy in a distributed environment.
3. Expert knowledge of industry deployment tools such as SCCM or any other
enterprise application deployment and automation systems.
4. Experience with enterprise-scale zero-touch Windows application deployments.
5. Ability to conduct Root Cause Analysis and remediation efforts on major
Windows Application Packaging and deployments.
6. Diagnose Windows application deployment issues and coordinate package
improvements/fixes
