A leading government agency is seeking a Senior Application Support Officer for an initial 6 month contract based in Parramatta, 2150.
This role will join the Digital Operations team to assist in managing and supporting a new system whilst also maintaining existing systems.
The Senior Application Support Officer will need to maintain and manage the relationship with the commercial partner assisting with the agency wide implementation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading digital system support for a regulatory business application
- Tracking incidents and other support requests to their resolution in a timely manner
- Managing relationships with internal and external support providers to meet service targets
- Leading systems enhancement projects with requirements gathering, testing and implementation planning
- Developing programs of work that improve the sustainability of support for business systems
Key requirements for this role include:
- Demonstrated understanding of reporting, with experience in data analysis.
- Proven experience with level 1 Application Support
- Proven analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability in providing user support for multiple applications.
- Experience in maintaining external relationships with key vendors and stakeholders
- Hands on experience with Jira and Power BI
- Nice to have experience with Salesforce and Pega
