Data#3 Professional Services are seeking a Senior Application Support Specialist to join our team as an urgent requirement has arisen with one of our Adelaide-based customers specialising in the development and integration of major defence and security systems.
Role Requirement:
- 5+ years administering (installing/setting up SharePoint farms), supporting and maintaining SharePoint
- Strong understanding and working experience in Application Support across a wide range of technologies:
- Database technologies, such as Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle;
- Atlassian technologies, such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
- ERPs such as IFS
- Strong experience in one or more scripting/programming languages (e.g. C++, .Net, PowerShell);
- Strong experience with application deployment and release management.
- High-level problem-solving skills and research/analytical ability including the ability to obtain and interpret information and make specific recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills to enable effective communication and interaction with other people at appropriate levels of an organisation.
- Fundamental understanding and awareness of information security and how this is applied in operational environments.
