Please see the attached WACHS PEHA Policy for further information.Position Profile: WA Country Health is seeking a Senior Applications Developer.As part of the WACHS Applications Team, the Senior Applications Developer is responsible for:

  • the development and delivery of specialized application software solutions within our organization.
  • providing key input into technical solution development, ensuring the effective implementation and support of these applications, and meeting interoperability requirements.
  • Providing expert advice to both internal and external stakeholders on technical matters and will be instrumental in driving the delivery of innovative, efficient technical application solutions.
This position calls for a seasoned professional with a solid foundation in application development projects, capable of delivering tangible results and contributing to the organization's technical advancement.Area Profile: The WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is the largest country health system in Australia and one of the biggest in the world, providing health services to approximately half a million people, including 45,000 Aboriginal people, over a vast two and a half million square kilometre area. The organisation comprises seven regions, with a strong network of public hospitals, health services and health centres located across rural and remote Western Australia.
