Period of employment / Hours:
Permanent full-time commencing from 01Apr 2024 (76.00 hours per fortnight) day work (part-time hours may be considered by negotiation)

Duties:
Primary Purpose / Focus :

• Lead the provision of an applications administration, support, and maintenance service to ensure the ongoing stability and security of Homes Tasmania's applications, tools and technologies and their operating environment.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members and collaborate with business units, external stakeholders, vendors/suppliers to ensure compliance, agreed standards and service levels are monitored and reported.
• Provide strategic advice and support to Homes Tasmania's digital operating environment being fit for purpose.
• Contribute to the building of an inclusive team through change that together with all ITMS teams also builds a collaborative business unit that enables Homes Tasmania achieve its stated objectives.

Skills and experience :
Selection criteria includes:

• Demonstrated extensive experience in the management, administration and monitoring of applications including support services.
• Demonstrated knowledge, or ability to quickly acquire an understanding, of Tasmanian Government digital strategies, policies, and guidelines and how they relate to Homes Tasmania.
• Proven ability to think strategically, influence and contribute to Homes Tasmania and whole-of- government planning and decision-making in relation to the delivery of digital and applications services.

Desirable Requirements:
Working towards or successful completion of qualifications, and/or extensive experience relevant to the role such as -

• Minimum 3 years of recent industry experience in the delivery of applications management and administration services.
• Current ITIL® certification.
