Senior Architectural Technician

Lyons is a Melbourne-based architecture practice committed to the design and delivery of carefully crafted buildings and urban environments across Australia. 

We’re not your typical practice – we move quickly, we’re constantly debating “how do we do this better?” and we invite all ideas into the answer. We love facilitating the growth of passionate people - we’re renowned for it. Design is at the centre of everything we do within projects and our practice, and everyone has a voice at the table. 

We’re seeking a driven individual to join our team to work on either health or education projects that are happening now.

• You’re excited by the future of architecture
• You’ve got at least 6 years of experience in comparable practices
• You're ambitious - this might take form in your quiet, diligent approach to delivering beautiful documentation, through your ideas about efficiencies and how you proactively seek to introduce them to a practice, your solutions-focused manner or your enjoyment of mentoring those around you…the list goes on! 
• You are a Revit guru - an added bonus if you can set up projects and build complex families (but this is not a requirement of the role)
• You know your way around BIM360 and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud
• You’re a team player – you listen attentively, take ownership of your own work, take pride in everything you do and collaboration comes naturally to you
• You’re proactive – if you’re stuck on something, you tap the right people on the shoulder and ask constructive questions
• You understand tertiary education projects or health projects on a large scale
• You don’t currently fit all of the above criteria, but you are determined to succeed
• You can work without restrictions in Australia
