Senior Associate Architect Role Overview
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Associate Architect to join their dynamic team. This role requires a visionary leader with a strong background in architectural design, project management, and team collaboration. The Senior Associate Architect will play a crucial role in driving project success, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to the firm's strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities of a Senior Associate Architect
- Lead and manage architectural projects from concept to completion, ensuring high-quality design and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver innovative solutions.
- Oversee the preparation of detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and interns, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Participate in business development activities, including client presentations and proposal preparations.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the firm, including market research and identifying new business opportunities.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Registered Architect with a minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience.
- Experience in class 2/multi-residential projects.
- Proven track record of leading and delivering complex architectural projects.
- Strong design sensibility and proficiency in architectural software - Revit
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong client relationships.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices and a commitment to environmental stewardship.
