The Data Analyst / Reporting Analyst will join our Managed Services Team preferably based in Canberra but potentially Brisbane or Melbourne location may work.

This resource assists with the delivery of an agreed level of IT service as contained in the Service Level Agreement with NTT's client by analysing and reporting on performance. In so doing, they ensure that all operational services and their performance are measured in a consistent, professional manner throughout the IT organisation, and that the services and the reports produced meet the needs of the business and customers. These reports will include system availability; system status; incident; problem; change; telephony and security reports that are delivered to the client on a monthly basis.

  • Create a range of reports that depict the delivery of an agreed IT service as contained in the Service Level Agreement with the client
  • Identify sources of data for existing and new reports.
  • Work closely with relevant SME's to determine appropriate data sources, agreed reporting structure and presentation to the client
  • Assess the environment (people, process, calls, etc.) to determine trends and problem areas.
  • Work closely with the internal clients to define what would add value to existing reports.
  • Enable valid business decision making by ensuring the data published is valid, accurate and correct.
  • Understand business needs and expectations, and consistently deliver quality of service.

What will make you a good fit for the role?

  • General qualification in Information Technology (Degree) or equivalent
  • 2 years' experience as Reporting /Data Analyst, preferably in an IT service management environment.
  • Experience in the process of developing and implementing new report templates.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Exchange, Word, Excel Project, Power Point, Power BI and VBA.
  • Understanding of and experience with ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) highly regarded
  • Understanding of system generally used in service management operations e.g. Service Now, highly regarded
  • Display a strong client service orientation
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Good report writing skills using advanced excel and other MS office packages.
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to interpret and analyse raw data from various cross function services and possess highly developed analytical skills.
  • Logical and systematic and has the ability to drive resolution using influencing skills
  • Understand the business needs and expectations
  • Meticulous with good problem solving and solution formulation ability

Selected candidate must be an Australian Citizen and will be subject to successful background checks and employment pre-screening.
