Due to unprecedented growth our newly established firm is recruiting for an experienced personal injury Senior Associate to work with our small but fierce team. One on one mentoring and support from Practice Leader as well as excellent paralegal and legal support.
Our newly established plaintiff firm (which is now almost 2 years old!) has already established itself as an industry-leading Personal Injuries firm based in Rockhampton, and as a result, we are now on the hunt for an experienced professional to help us continue to grow and prosper and provide exceptional services to our clients across Central & Southeast Queensland. With a fresh approach to personal injury law, we're redefining what it means to be client-focused and driven.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are on the hunt for a personal injury litigator who wants to be a part of building this exciting new practice. Ideally you will have 4 plus years PAE and be capable of managing your own file load, instructing counsel and advancing matters to conference and beyond.

Role Requirements:
- Proven experience in Personal Injuries law, with capabilities in handling cases from initial enquiries right up to trial.
- Litigation experience is a must and running trials is preferred but if you don’t have this, we encourage you to still apply as we can offer training.
- Skilled in taking new enquiries and converting to open matters.
- TPD experience.
- Ability to quantify injury claims.
- Confidence in meeting with referrers and stakeholders to strengthen relationships.
- Ability to brief counsel independently and instruct support staff.
- Exceptional phone manner and communication skills.
- Proficiency in workers' compensation, public liability, and CTP claims in Queensland.
- Applicants with backgrounds in both plaintiff and defendant cases will be considered.
