In this role, as the Senior Associate reporting to the Sub-domain Product Owner, you will be responsible for communicating and maintaining the vision, roadmap, goals and plans with our key stakeholders including the domain, tech and data analytics teams. Your focus will be enhancing portfolio management and pricing capabilities by driving key funded initiatives such as geo-spatial analysis, pricing and climate capabilities, distribution capabilities, collateral valuation and improving portfolio insights.
Some key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Support Head of with analysis and insights allowing them to understand, influence and advise internal stakeholders and make decisions
- Backlog prioritization
- Defining acceptance criteria
- Resource tracking and management
- Functions including the use of discretion/delegation and authority may be carried out within clearly defined policies, principles and specific objectives.
- Employees are responsible for the delivery of work but accountability may sit at a higher Group.

Key Accountabilities;
- Support the design and execution of the Commercial Management Strategy
- Support Domain project(s) impacting Commercial Management
- Work closely with key stakeholders in Risk, C&IB, B&PB and Business Lending to continuously evolve the capabilities within Commercial Management
- Co-ordinate and draft responses for Business Lending Executives and External Comms teams.
- Co-ordinate and draft Steering group packs and supporting material, responses to regulatory and/or internal stakeholder queries
- Define and maintain the product backlog
- Provide assistance and direction to technology squads during design, delivery, testing and implementation
- Track project financials and spend
- Track and update governance forums on the status of key initiatives across Commercial Management
- Collaborate with Product Owners from the broader Business Lending domain to create a shared vision
Additionally, you will demonstrate:
- Understanding of relevant financial products either from a Business or Technology perspective
- Demonstrated experience working with common enterprise data systems, analytic tools and analytic techniques with knowledge of data sources, rules/definitions, systems, and frameworks within NAB
- Experience shaping and prioritising product roadmaps and backlogs
- Experience conducting workshops and influencing stakeholders
- Strong banking experience with experience in Business Lending
- Good understanding of development delivery framework such as Agile and PACE
- Project delivery experience and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to build a strong culture within the team
