Our Sydney office is currently looking for an experienced Senior project manager.
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the full life cycle of assigned projects from planning and inception to commissioning and handover, whilst concurrently ensuring the project is delivered on time, to budget, and to the required standards.
A core component of the role will be working collaboratively with the team to ensure the successful delivery of quality projects in accordance with the project scope.
As part of this role, you will be responsible for various duties including but not limited to:
- Take full responsibility for projects from beginning to end, (including project plan & schedule, budget, stakeholder identification, Issues/Risk register & communication plans) ensuring the satisfaction of customer needs, budget requirements, and labour needs.
- Confront and resolving project issues openly and quickly.
- Possess a technical understanding of the concepts involved in Audio & Video.
- Analyze profitability, revenue, margins and utilization across projects.
- Continue to build expert knowledge in our industry and convey this knowledge to others in the company.
- Anticipate clients' needs and propose alternative business solutions.
- Must have a Minimum of 5 years of experience in the audio-visual industry
- A solid understanding of project management principles and project management methodologies, and previous experience managing small to medium projects
- Demonstrated understanding of system integration and limitations.
- Formal Project Management certification is desirable
- Demonstrated experience effectively managing and leading a team
- Highly effective time management and organisation skills
- Highly personable with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with a broad range of people
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong English language skills
- Good understanding of commercial contracts and terms
- Commercial acumen and financial management; able to manage project budgets
