Closing Date: 11:30pm, Tuesday 30th April 2024About the OpportunityThe Senior Audit and Compliance Officer leads planning, execution, and delivery of audits and Compliance tasks, focusing on online wagering regulation at Consumer and Business Services (CBS). This role entails auditing online wagering providers using risk-based regulation principles. With minimal guidance, the officer plans, initiates, and executes complex Audit and Compliance reviews, exercising professional judgment. Their work significantly contributes to achieving regulatory objectives and strategies, particularly in online wagering, within the Compliance and Enforcement Branch.About the BusinessThe Attorney-General’s Department (AGD) provides a range of legal, regulatory and other services for the government and people of South Australia. - Completed Bachelor level degree (recognised in Australia) in accounting or commerce (majoring in accounting). The degree must meet the requirements for entry into the professional accounting program offered by CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. The candidate must have completed the professional accounting program and have current full membership of the professional accounting body.
