Form of workWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Radio Network Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and support of our Emergencies Services Radio P25 System.
Responsibilities:
- Installation, commissioning and maintenance of radio network infrastructure, including Motorola, RFI, Cisco Routers and Eltek DC controllers.
- Diagnosing cavity filter performance and retuning it as required.
- Conduct regular preventative maintenance on radio network equipment.
- Utilise Anritsu LMR Master and Copper Mountain TR test kits for testing and commissioning.
- Perform commissioning and cutover activities under outage conditions.
- Train team members in a collaborative and flexible environment.
- Review and create Method of Procedures (MOPs) prior to construction as required.
- Maintain professional communication with customers and contractors.
- Travel frequently to various sites across Victoria.
- Proven experience working on radio networks, ideally in Emergencies Services Radio P25 System.
- Strong understanding of Motorola, RFI, Cisco Routers and Eltek DC controller equipment.
- Experience in diagnosing cavity filter performance and retuning.
- Proficiency in using Anritsu LMR Master and Copper Mountain TR test kits.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel frequently.
