Job Description:
As a Senior Barista, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for delivering high-quality coffee and outstanding customer service. Your role will include:
- Crafting a variety of coffee beverages with precision and consistency.
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of coffee origins, flavors, and profiles.
- Operating independently during shifts, including opening and closing procedures.
- Providing exceptional hospitality to all customers, ensuring a memorable experience.
- Ability to pipe cannoli, man the shop solo, and handle opening service from 6am.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the café area.
- Assisting with inventory management and restocking as needed.
Requirements:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a barista in a fast-paced café or restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and specialty coffee trends.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week, including weekends.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Passion for delivering exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for customers.
Schedule:
The shift for this position will be from 6:00 am to 11:00 am, with the possibility of additional hours based on business needs. Our coffee bar nee restaurant is open 7 days a week.
