An opportunity has arisen for an experienced p/t or f/t (depending on experience, aptitude and tasks) bookkeeper to join a small hospitality company operating multiple venues. With a Head Office in the city (close to Town Hall station) we're looking for an a/p and Payroll Wizz.
You'll need to be experienced across -
- Accounts payable (lightyear / xero software) (multiple weekly payments)
- Accounts receivable
- Payroll (you'll have multiple locations to deal with) - (deputy software) (onboarding new employees, wage processing, adjustments, employee enquiries, weekly stp2 to ato, employee entitlement management, monthly lodgement of super, yearly payment summaries to ato)
- Owning and understanding awards
This role may also extend across -
- Reconciliations
- Month end and year end requirements
- BAS
- P&L's and liaising/reporting to external company accountants
Must have -
Experience with Deputy, Xero and Lightyear.
A good command of written and verbal English is a must.
Full working rights in Australia.
Prior experience in the hospitality industry required.
Knowledge of HIGA award required.
