Joining our Finance team at the head office in Collingwood, you will report directly to the Financial Manager, overseeing day-to-day transactional accounting for a portfolio of entities within the group. This is a Full-time permanent role, with a Hybrid working model.

Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable processing with weekly AP runs.
- Supplier set up & ensure details are accurate in Xero..
- Full function weekly payroll for 90+ staff, including superannuation, payroll tax calculations, and work cover.
- Bank accounts and credit card reconciliations.
- Processing accruals, prepayments, and subsequent journals.
- Intercompany transactions processing.
- Assist with general ledger and balance sheet accounts reconciliation.
- Participation in group month-end and year-end.
- Assist with the preparation of IAS & BAS returns.
- Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register.
- Assist with cash flow reporting.
- Other ad hoc duties to support the Finance Manager as required.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of Certificate 4 in Bookkeeping or Accounting.
- Literacy in Accounting technology and experience with Xero, Tanda or Lightyear will be looked upon favourably.
- Exposure to API integrations.
- Experience in high-volume transactions.
- Hospitality industry experience or exposure to multi-entity/multi-client environments.
- Ability to work within strict deadlines and reporting timetables.
- High levels of accuracy & attention to detail.
- Forward-thinking & problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, including GST.
- Prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a broader team.
