About the Role
We are seeking an experienced end to end Experienced Senior bookkeeper to join our faced paced office to hit the ground running
With the Opportunity to work either Full time or Part Time hours depending on your requirements.
Permanent Part time, with Approx 24-30 hour per week, with an option over 4 to 5 days.
Full Time will be required 40 hours per week on salary.
This is an onsite Role and cannot be worked remotely.
Duties will include.
- Weekly Payroll, including overtime, penalties and EBA rates, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements such as superannuation, payroll tax, and Workcover lodgment.
- Experience working with both awards and EBA's
- Data Entry into MYOB accounting system including Job Tracking
- Daily Debtors reporting
- Daily Debt collection
- Daily Invoicing
- Preparation and Lodgment of LSL & Redundancy funds monthly
- Preparation of Monthly IAS and quarterly BAS
- Accounts Payable including EOM reconciliations.
- Bank Reconciliations of multiple accounts
- EOM Commercial Claims and reconciliation of RCTI's
- Equipment & Material orders
- Leave Applications
- Asset Management including acquisitions.
- Assistance in Internal OHSE Audits and compliance
- Reviewing and Verifying Subcontractor invoices
- Onboarding New Employees
- Management of our Apprentices including Government incentives
- Administration Work as required
- The right candidate will be confident in Journal Entries and Balancing back to the BS
To be Considered for this role, the following Skills and Experience is Essential
- Only applicants with Payroll experience will be considered.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role with exposure to general accounting and bookkeeping principles.
- Previous experience in both AR & AP
- Proficiency with MYOB with 3+ years on-the-job experience will only be considered.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

- Flexible & adaptable.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proactive & innovative.
- BAS Agent (preferred not essential)
- High levels of English communication skills; verbal and written.
- Salary will be subject to experience.
