Working within our bookkeeping division and closely with our accounting team we are seeking a team player who is experienced in bookkeeping work, particularly in Xero. You will provide internal support to our accountants, as well as provide bookkeeping and payroll services directly to clients. You will be required to assist with, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, processing payroll, reporting, assisting in the preparation of quarterly BAS and IAS for clients, setting up clients bookkeeping files and reconciling Superannuation, Payroll Tax, Work Cover and PAYG where required. Your organisation, efficiency and high-level attention to detail will assist you in this collaborative team environment. Remuneration will be in the range of $75,000 - $85,000 inclusive, depending on your experience level.
Your skills
- Qualification in Bookkeeping or Accounting (desirable)
- Previous experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting administration
- Knowledge of Accounting Software eg. Xero, MYOB QuickBooks
- Knowledge of Xero integration software an advantage.
- Working understanding of GST
- Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
- Team player with excellent communication and organisation skill
- Experience processing documents via DEXT/Hubdoc, and knowledge of other apps linking to Xero such as Square, Shopify, Deputy, and Unleashed an advantage.
