We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who will become a vital part of our small, dynamic team. The successful applicant will possess outstanding organisational and communication skills, as well as a positive and approachable demeanour.
Time management skills are paramount. You must excel both independently and as a team player!
Role Specifications:
- $40 - $45 per hour.
- Part Time – 24 Hours Per Week. Potential for this to go to full time.
- Minimum 6 hours on a Tuesday and a Wednesday, with some flexibility for the remaining hours.
- Hybrid Role – Initially onsite in Angle Vale, with flexibility to work location after a qualifying period.
- Travel time/allowance negotiable depending on successful applicants’ location.
As an accountant at Outcomes Advisory, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Debt collection.
- Preparing P&L and Balance Sheets to trial balance stage using Xero and MYOB.
- End to end payroll processing and reconciliations including superannuation, and WorkCover.
- Preparation of BAS/ IAS statements for review and lodgement.
- Documenting and implementing systems to find efficiencies in processes.
- Providing excellent customer service.
- Cash Flow reporting.
- Ad hoc administrative tasks.
What We're Looking For:
- Formal Qualifications in Accounting essential –
- Proven experience in both traditional accounting practices and modern accounting technologies.
- Solid knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero + MYOB highly regarded).
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Committed and dedicated work ethic.
- Experience with Keypay and Employment Hero highly regarded.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
