Exciting new bookkeeping opportunity on the Gold Coast! Your new company
Your new company is based in Central Gold Coast. Our client is a leading company servicing the coast, ensuring excellent service to all clients and quality products. With a vast client portfolio, this company has a strong reputation and, due to the rapid growth, they require a passionate and highly motivated Bookkeeper to join their friendly team located on the Gold Coast. This position will require a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work in a high-volume environment.
Your new role
The Bookkeeper role would include extensive bookkeeping duties, bank reconciliations, BAS preparation and reconciliation, debt collection, preparation of tax payment annual report, preparing income statements, day to day data entry, preparing end of year reports, superannuation, and payroll reconciliations. You will be an essential part of a dedicated team and collaborating with the rest of the team to ensure a great experience for their clients. This is a fast-paced team environment that drives for success in every aspect of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be an experienced bookkeeper, with advanced skills in MYOB, Xero and Payroll. They will be well-organised with strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Strong customer service skills and the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, team environment. We seek someone who is self-motivated and can work autonomously. Our client is also looking for someone who has in-depth knowledge of onboarding new virtual employees. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate solid technical accounting expertise, and a registered BAS agent is highly desirable but not essential.
