Who are we looking for?
Working with our client Main Roads WA, we are seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer based in Perth on a 8 month fixed term contract.
Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Manage design services including investigations review and detailed structural / durability design for new structures.
• Review consultant design projects and provide specialist technical advice on design quality and conformance to structural standards and specifications.
• Provide specialist technical advice and construction support to Main Roads' delivery directorates.
• Provide specialist engineering input to the development of bridge design, durability, maintenance and construction standards and processes.
• Provide specialist technical advice and engineering input for bridge research projects.

What you will bring to the team:

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Experience in investigation, design and construction of bridge projects
• Knowledge of national and international standards for bridge design
• Research analysis and problem solving

GHD has been appointed by Main Roads Western Australia to deliver a state-wide Operational Asset Management Support Service (AMSS) contract. Under this contract, GHD provides centralised and regional support to assist Main Roads manage and maintain the State Road network.
