About the role
We have a crucial role for one of our key clients, seeking a Senior Cost Engineer as part of the Major Projects (Studies) team, based on-site in their Perth CBD office tower with adhoc visits to site in the beautiful Southwest corner of WA - with an mid-March start.
What Will You Be Doing?
The Major ProjectsSenior Cost Engineer is responsible for the establishment of project work orders, updating actual costs, cost forecasting and reporting through the full project life cycle. You will assist the portfolio Project Managers, General Managers and Project Services Manager to successfully execute project scope.

What Skill Set Do I Require?

• Bachelor's Degree - Accounting | Mining Engineering
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) qualifications are highly regarded
• Experience in mining | greenfield and | or brownfield project roles
• Exposure to full project life cycle from concept to execution and associated gate movements
• Experience with cost and finance systems, such as Prism and SAP
• Familiar with cost and work breakdown structures
• Ability to work independently in a cost role
• Attention to detail in accurately reporting and forecasting project costs
