Access the National Relay Service
The Senior Business Advisor is responsible for the development of regular financial performance management reporting, budgeting, financial variance analysis, month end processes and financial advice for key infrastructure projects and day to day operations.
The incumbent will require to establish high-level effective relationships with other services in particular the Financial Accounting and Contract Management Teams, Capital Asset Services and Department of Health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide effective and authoritative advice to the Capital Project and Digital Health & Technology portfolios in relation to strategic and operational management of financial resources and general administration in line with the SCHHS Strategic Plan.
- Undertake month end close processes including preparation of accrual journals, reconciliation of funding sources and capital work in progress review.
- Preparation and presentation of detailed monthly management reports, comparing performance against budgets and funding sources. Provide professional support, advice, and recommendations in relation to these monthly management reports.
Remuneration value up to $144 003 p.a., comprising salary between $117 824 - $126 212 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO6).
