Opportunity:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the business operations, driving cost management, and influencing important commercial decisions. With a combined annual operating and capital expenditure exceeding AU$1 billion, your expertise will directly impact the success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and analyse intricate cost drivers within Asset Management, particularly in Process Plant and Mining Maintenance.
- Assist Site Business Managers in a second-in-command capacity when necessary.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end procedures, serving as a bridge between on-site Operations and regional accounting teams.
- Lead departmental cost review meetings, identify improvement actions, and support decision-making.
- Manage and oversee the site's capital expenditure system and processes, including Investment Evaluation Models.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within Newmont and Business Partners.
About You:
- Tertiary Qualification – Degree in Accounting CA/CPA.
- Substantial management accounting experience, with mine accounting experience being desirable.
- Dynamic, driven, energetic, and positive attitude.
- Self-starter with the ability to work autonomously.
- Demonstrated Systems experience (BPC Tools, SAP ERP, Microsoft Excel, and PowerBI).
