Duckcreek Business Analyst

-       Knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance

-       Good Knowledge of Duckcreek Policy

-       Knowledge of Commercial, Personal, Specialty Lines of Business

-       Knowledge of ISO and NCCI business (for US Insurance)

-       Knowledge of ISO templates and update process (for US Insurance)

Responsibilities

·         Document functional and non-functional requirements

·         Use agreed upon process and tools/templates

·         Manage versioning of requirements and updates business requirement artifacts throughout the project lifecycle to enable requirements traceability

·         Work with Dev and QA team members to ensure full requirements coverage within test cases

·         Interact with developers & QA team members to provide requirements clarifications

·         Produce requirement documentation (BRD/FRD) based on PO, Business SME and Business Lead guidance, including:

·         Wireframes, Use cases, Business rules, Conceptual data definitions

·         Detailed Functional requirements documentation

·         Non-Functional requirements documentation (with assistance from tech & business arch.)

·         Research changes and report impact to the rest of the team

·         Create and review use cases and user stories

·         Capture non-functional requirements

·         Manage project requirement documents throughout the project lifecycle

·         Enforce project requirement standards, templates and methods to complete work.

·         Strong interaction and communication skills to quickly establish rapport with business and technical SME personnel at all levels.

• Excellent documentation skills to create clear business level definitions in diagrams and written form.
• Process Mapping, development of data flow diagrams and entity relationship diagrams, other UML techniques.
