As we continue to expand and innovate, we are seeking a talented Senior Technical Salesforce Consultant to join our IT team and contribute to the ongoing success of our platform.
About the Role: As a Senior Technical Salesforce Consultant at Smart Energy, you will play a vital role in further developing and enhancing our growing platform. This is a newly created permanent position based in our Byron Bay HQ. You will work closely with our internal teams and Salesforce Partner ProQuest IT to identify business requirements, configure the Salesforce platform, and ensure seamless integration with our sales and installation processes. Your expertise in Salesforce technology and renewable energy industry knowledge will drive the successful implementation and optimization of our platform, empowering our sales and installation teams to excel in their roles.
Role Responsibilities:
⭐Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements related to sales and installation of solar, battery, and other renewable energy products.
⭐Design and configure Salesforce platform features, including various types of flows, validation rules, formula fields, outbound messages, etc.
⭐Work closely with Salesforce Partner ProQuest IT to implement and customise the platform, ensuring integration with existing systems and processes.
⭐Conduct regular system audits, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions to enhance the user experience and increase operational efficiency.
⭐Provide technical expertise and guidance to internal teams on Salesforce best practices, system capabilities, and data management.
⭐Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement data migration strategies, ensuring seamless transition to the new platform.
⭐Conduct training sessions and create documentation to enable end-users to maximise their understanding and utilisation of the Salesforce platform.
✨ Your Skills & Experience ✨
⭐Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
⭐Proven experience as a Salesforce BA or Developer preferably in the renewable energy industry.
⭐Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Developer, Experience Cloud, FSL, etc.
⭐Strong technical proficiency in Salesforce configuration.
⭐Great knowledge in the use of Salesforce Flows (must be an expert in this space) and ideally Apex.
⭐Demonstrated experience in integrating Salesforce with external systems, utilising APIs, and managing data migration.
⭐Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
⭐Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
⭐Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
