The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Market Services team in Brisbane, QLD on a Permanent Full Time Basis.
Reporting to the Team Lead Operational Excellence you will play a key role in identifying issues and working with the business to propose technical solutions that provide an enhancement of the performance management functions for Market Services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop analytics methods and tools in supporting customer usage insights and forecasting.
- Extract, gather, analyse and model database information from across multiple enterprise & operational systems;
- Collaborate, interrogate and gather requirements for reporting/analysis/tools to proactively improve business and operational performance;
- Development, maintenance and provision of associated training material for visualisations, reporting and business analysis tools in which to support the efficient operation of Market Services;
- Provide IT support for IOC Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology
- Automate Excel Tools with Macros to improve business efficiency and enhance system reporting.
Your Background
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field required
- Experience in hands on data gathering, analysis & modelling from across multiple business enterprise systems & operational systems;
- Experience in computer coding language, for example SQL, vba, python or similar;
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools, for example Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft PowerApps or similar, to analyse data and to develop associated reporting, visualisations & analysis;
- Experience within the Energy sector or similar industry would be advantageous.
