About the role
Digital Metro North (DMN) works collaboratively with Metro North Health (MNH) clinical leads and end users to deliver the digital transformation strategy for Metro North Health. It will ultimately create an integrated digital hospital and healthcare environment across Metro North. In meeting this strategy significant capital works are being undertaken over the next five years that includes hospital construction/refurbishment and the implementation of ieMR Advanced solution across Metro North. Delivering this will require a dedicated team, with the capacity to work across initiatives and domains, with the knowledge, determination, skills and experience to deliver.
This Senior BI Developer opportunity will be pivotal in developing end to end Business Intelligence solutions, data and analytics and expert methodologies to ensure the successful delivery of our digital transformation strategy. You will impart your expertise in continuous improvement and enhance the reporting and analytical needs of Metro North Health, gathering stakeholder Business Intelligence hopes, fears and dreams and establishing data flows to meet business metrics. This role will be responsible for undertaking complex business data analysis and modelling across business data structures and take charge of optimising stakeholder queries to provide resolution. In this role, you will apply sound governance and management of ICT systems and undertake complex data analysis across multi-functional portfolios to benchmark and assist with the development and execution of activities, transformation agenda strategies and solutions to improve patient and health care in Queensland.
You will be able to demonstrate a solution oriented and focused skill set, you will have proven conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills inter-mingled with effective communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities. You will have the ability to devise, develop and implement systems and processes that support access to business-critical information, and implore solid analytical practices in relation to Metadata, information governance/security and clinical data definitions.
You will have a high level of understanding across the full data lifecycle with SQL, data integration and data platform experience and a conceptual understanding in analytics pipelines and presentations to meet backend reporting needs and business objectives.
