You will
- lead the way in implementing a data analytics roadmap, boosting our university's strategic goals by responsibly leveraging Data and information assets;
- bring technical and Business expertise to the forefront, driving the transformation of data analytics in our large, complex organisation;
- establish and maintain data warehouse databases, ensuring seamless institutional reporting and integration as a foundational aspect of our data-centric approach; and
- collaborate to craft impactful data visualisations and dashboards, setting the stage for data-driven decisions that steer our university's future.
About you:
UniSC is seeking a Data and Business Intelligence Specialist who not only excels in managing data pipelines but possesses the unique ability to transform data into impactful visualisations. Beyond technical expertise, our ideal candidate has a collaborative disposition, dedicated to innovative, high-quality Business Intelligence solutions that breathe life into our data analytics roadmap. Your commitment to documentation, data integrity, knowledge transfer, and creating a positive work environment makes you the perfect fit for our innovative team.
To be successful you will possess
- hands-on experience in warehouse design, BI development, and impactful data product implementation;
- expertise in Azure Data Factory, Function Apps, Synapse, data engineering, integration, and architecture;
- proficient in SQL, Python, PowerShell, and BI tools, to navigate the evolving data landscape;
- demonstrated commitment to data integrity, compliance, and best practices in governance, cataloging, quality, security, and privacy;
- ability to effectively manage resources and priorities, solving complex business problems with innovation; and
- strong attention to detail for testing methodologies and development activities.
