We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Program Manager to provide business leadership to all aspects of a Global Payroll Implementation project.

Your role will include:

  • Provide overall leadership, guidance, and direction to the project team ensuring the successful implementation of the Global Payroll system. Overall accountability of the successful delivery of the program, representing the Group Chief Financial Officer.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to quality standards, delivery milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain effective relationships and communication with key stakeholders throughout the 2-year project.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues effectively, ensuring proactive contingency planning and timely resolution.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and comply with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to facilitate smooth project implementation and adoption of the Global Payroll system across different geographical locations.
  • Produce regular project progress reports, status updates, and other project documentation as required by the organization and project stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional project team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure optimal team performance and project success. Drive accountability and coordination across the program and impacted functions within the business.
  • Be an advocate to drive simplicity across the payroll function and transform from old ways of working.

The successful candidate will have extensive expertise in project management, specifically in the payroll domain, with an impressive track record of successful project delivery and stakeholder management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex international environments as well as:

  • Significant experience in project management, mandatory in the payroll domain, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of Global Payroll processes, systems, and regulations, with experience in international Payroll Implementation being highly desirable.
  • Experience with Ramco and Workday HCM highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the ability to make sound decisions in a complex and fast-paced environment.
  • Professional project management certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) are highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a global or multicultural organization would be an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or a related field is required. A postgraduate qualification in project management is advantageous.
