Our goal is to improve the quality of life and independence outcomes for those who have experienced life-changing injuries from a catastrophic accident.A competitive salary will be offered to the successful applicant commensurate with skills and experience.The PersonIn addition to a tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy/Registered Nursing or similar discipline, and current registration with the relevant professional body, have the capability to:
- independently assess, coordinate and monitor the highly complex needs of people with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury or other catastrophic injuries;
- use well developed and effective verbal and written communication, negotiation and influencing skills to provide a high level of customer service;
- apply effective case management/coordination strategies to assist people with catastrophic injuries;
- apply extensive clinical knowledge to manage a broad range of stakeholders;
- apply coaching, mentoring and teaching principles in the sharing of current evidence based practice with peers, colleagues and personnel within the division to support ongoing learning and development of others; and
- think flexibly with a desire for service delivery innovation.
