About the role
Reporting to the Director BreastScreen NSW North Coast, with a professional line to the Designated Radiologist, the Career Medical Officer (CMO) is responsible for the provision of high-quality clinical services for BreastScreen NSW North Coast, with particular emphasis on assessment clinics and provision of support to Nurse Counsellors.
If you have/are:

• Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role (please address these in your response)
• Demonstrated experience to perform clinical duties with minimal supervision in the area of women’s health, preferably with experience in breast disease and/or breast examination
• Advanced ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the planning, delivery and coordination of client care
• Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management with an ability to implement clinical best practice in accordance with evidence-based practice
• Commitment to participating in training and development opportunities to further develop skills and knowledge of the team
• Valid unrestricted drivers’ licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment (travel to all BreastScreen NSW North Coast clinics)
