Why Your Role Matters:
As Senior Case Manager you will play a key role in managing serious complaints and allegations of student misconduct according to the University’s policies and procedures. Practiced in compliant management, your day involves gathering and evaluating information as well as conducting interviews to assess serious allegations in line with the University’s applicable policy framework and values.
Responsibilities:
- Case management of handling of complaints and allegations of student misconduct
- Promote a UNSW culture of ethical decision making by staff and students
- Register, analyse and respond tactfully to issues and queries
- Build positive and advisory working relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide high level administrative and general office management support
- Accurate documentation and information management, record keeping, meeting coordination and reporting
- Collecting and interpreting evidence, interviewing, drafting correspondence
- Assist in the review and development of policies and processes relating to complaints and allegations misconduct.
- Contribute to projects and initiatives promoting academic integrity.
Who You Are:
You are a complaint handler with an investigations or legal background who is passionate about contributing to a culture of academic integrity and would like to apply your skills and experience in a new way. You have the following skills and experience:
- High emotional intelligence and judgement
- A proactive attitude and excellent time management skills
- Strong IT skills, competent with high attention to detail
- Experience in complaints management, data analysis and reporting in a high volume environment
- Ability to maintain workplace confidentiality, exercising sensitivity, and respect
- Proven analytical skills with an ability to apply regulatory and professional principles, policy and guidelines.
