Undertake casino-based inspection and compliance support activities, including liaising with customers to ensure compliance with requirements, obligations and relevant legislation.

Essential requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
- Appointment and ongoing assignment are subject to satisfactorily meeting the integrity standards set out in section 14 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007, including satisfactory participation in mandatory pre-employment and ongoing probity screening, in accordance with relevant legislation and/or related policies.?
- The person occupying the role will be designated as a key official under section 16 of the Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007 and will be subject to restrictions, such as restrictions on attending certain premises.?
- Willingness and availability to meet the shift-work requirements of the role.
- Undertake timely, targeted and risk-based inspections, including rostered weekend and late-night deployments and activities and comprehensive desktop reviews, to ensure compliance.
- Prepare correspondence and reports, including reports for customers and their representatives, to inform and support decision making.
- Obtain information, conduct research, and liaise with customers and/or their representatives on a range of issues and compliance matters, to gain acceptance and facilitate outcomes.
- Maintain currency with established procedures and policies, making recommendations and contributing to the implementation of change, to support optimal service delivery.
- Identify instances of non-compliance, gathering and providing information and/or evidence for escalation and/or referral to the relevant team, to support business activities.
- Make enquiries of various sources, including assessing and extracting information from other agency databases, to establish compliance with legislation administered by the organisation, and to determine relevant liability.
- Update and amend various organisational databases to record enquiries and recommendations, to ensure the availability of current information, and to support effective business reporting.
