The Quality Inspector role is based predominantly out of our office in Arndell Park.
Hours of work are Mon-Fri from 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week. Salary circa $65,000-$80,000 + super + car allowance based on prior experience. This is a permanent full-time position and includes a generous car allowance and will require you to have or acquire an appropriate vehicle to complete the requirements of the role.
We are looking for that special person, a team player who can also work unsupervised. Someone who is not afraid of hard work and is results driven, someone with experience/exposure to waterproofing and tiling and is a good communicator.
In this role you will get to:
- Inspection: Conducting thorough inspections of products, materials, or processes to identify defects, deviations from specifications, or other quality issues.
- Testing: Performing various tests and measurements to assess the functionality, performance, and durability of products according to predefined criteria.
- Documentation: Recording inspection and test results accurately and maintaining detailed documentation of quality assurance activities for reference and auditing purposes.
- Compliance: Ensuring that products or processes comply with relevant quality standards, regulations, and industry guidelines.
- Problem-solving: Investigating and troubleshooting quality issues, collaborating with relevant stakeholders to identify root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
- Communication: Communicating effectively with production teams, supervisors, and other stakeholders to convey quality requirements, provide feedback, and facilitate continuous improvement efforts.
- Must be well presented, phone etiquette and punctuality are sought after qualities to be successful in this role.
- Although you will spend the majority of your day on site there is associated administration and computer work involved with the role which includes documenting upcoming, current, and past works and WHS compliance, so a solid level of familiarity with computer competency.
Overall, Quality Inspectors play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing product quality, customer satisfaction, and organizational reputation
Experience preferred, however training for the right candidate will be provided.
