We are seeking motivated individuals to step into the exciting and challenging role of Senior Civil Engineer for our Water Infrastructure projects based in our Perth office. Our projects span the lifecycle of project delivery from feasibility studies through to detailed design packages for construction. We always search for and deliver innovation and value to our clients in what we do.
With a number of recent acquisitions, we are seeking talented Senior Civil Engineers to help consolidate our water capability and to continue to provide our valued clients with access to water specialists both locally and across our national team.
The Opportunity
- Join a team that works on Water Infrastructure projects, not only locally, but across Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region.
- Perform Civil Engineering tasks as lead engineer which may include engineering drawings, calculations, reports, design criteria, to support our Water Infrastructure projects.
- Assist with developing and managing the project scope including cost estimates, budget, staffing and schedule.
- Work collaboratively with our local clients and colleagues across WA, Australia and the wider Asia pacific business.
- Partner with a diverse client base from local government, industry and private development.
About you
- Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or Environmental Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 7-10 years professional experience in the consulting or engineering industry.
- Strong technical experience in potable water supply, gravity and pumped sewerage systems, and recycled water networks.
- Experience in water and wastewater treatment plants for regional and urban water authorities desirable but not essential.
- Expertise with dealing with a range of clients and stakeholders including local authorities, government bodies and commercial companies.
- Strong ability to prioritize workloads whilst maintaining strong and trusting work relationships with our clients and colleagues both locally and across the broader Stantec team.
- Responsible for building and maintaining client relationships; developing business opportunities through your advocacy of our people, capability, and brand.
- Chartership/ RPEQ or working towards is highly regarded.
