Supreme Earthmoving are currently seeking a talented Senior Estimator to join us develop the company. The position on offer will require experience in tender search and review, measuring and quantifying areas and volumes, pricing , submitting ,negotiating.
The successful applicant must be self-motivated and a team leader
About the Role and Required Experience
- 5+ years' experience in a similar position within Sydney
- Primary knowledge in FRP, Roads, and Civil works
- Good communication & interpersonal skills are essential in this role as you will liaise with senior management, subcontractors/suppliers & clients
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and technical competency
- Previous experience managing whole tenders and reviewing the work of team members
- Conduct meetings in early stages of the Tender period with estimating team
- Measurements of works to verify quantities
- Complying and applying rates to arrive at final construction costs
- Main estimating of concrete placement, infrastructure and earthworks
- Must be able to work to deadlines of tender closing dates
- Must be able to attend site visits as required
- Preparation of tender, estimates & associated documentation, working with the commercial and project teams
- Good computer skills required with microsoft experience, blue beam experience preferred
- Must communicate clearly and speak fluent English
- Full Drivers Licence Required, white card essential
