Annually, the RCH has 300,000+ Specialist Clinic appointments, 90,000+ Emergency Department presentations and 20,000 elective surgeries.The RCH is committed to the .RCH enjoys high employee engagement and is committed to staff safety and a positive culture through enactment of our Compact.For further Information on RCH is available .About the Role:This is an ongoing, part-time (0.5EFT) position for a Clinical Neuropsychologist or Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist within the St Albans Community Mental Health Team.You will be responsible for providing high-quality neuropsychology-specific assessment of children and young people who are consumers of a tertiary-level Infant, Child and Family Area Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. You will also provide a neuropsychology-specific perspective to inform the development of effective care plans for intervention and management of children and young people within a multidisciplinary team. For the role of Senior Clinical Neuropsychologist, you will also be responsible for high-quality clinical supervision to other Clinical Neuropsychologists and students, and work closely with the Team Coordinator and Discipline Senior.Classification for this position will range from:Clinical NeuropsychologistGrade 2 Psychologist (PK1-PK4)Senior Clinical NeuropsychologistGrade 3 Psychologist (PL1 - PL4)Your Skills and Experience:EssentialClinical Neuropsychologist
- Completed an accredited Master or Doctoral program in Clinical Neuropsychology, recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Hold general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (Board)
- Hold an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Ability to function independently as a Clinical Neuropsychologist and to provide a range of Clinical Neuropsychology services.
- Experience in clinical practice in the area of paediatric clinical neuropsychology
- Completed an accredited Master or Doctoral program in Clinical Neuropsychology, recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia.
- Hold general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (Board)
- Hold an Area of Practice Endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology with the Psychology Board of Australia
- Ability to function independently as a Clinical Neuropsychologist and to provide a range of Clinical Neuropsychology services.
- Significant experience in clinical practice in the area of paediatric clinical neuropsychology
- Hold Board-approved supervisor status, including Board-approval as a 'Registrar Program Principal Supervisor'
- Demonstrated ability to supervise clinical staff and post-graduate students
- Have a minimum of five years professional experience as a Psychologist Grade 2 (or equivalent)
- Experience in assessment of children with a range of neurodevelopmental disorders.
