Overview:The Senior Clinical Placement Systems Officer is responsible for managing the improvement, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance of Clinical Placement Systems that improve the quality and capacity of health education and Clinical Placements and address system issues, system changes and future developments.The incumbent ensure systems, activities and services are aligned with the Better Placed program objectives and plays a major role in the delivery of SA Health's Better Placed: Excellence in Health Education framework.The Senior Clinical Placement Systems Officer develops, implements, and evaluates stakeholder engagement programs and strategic communication plans to support state-wide student clinical education and Clinical Placement Systems and is responsible for overseeing and providing advice on systems, including Better Placed processes, used to determine Clinical Placement requirements and availability.The Senior Clinical Placement Systems Officer provides specialist advice, related to Nursing and Midwifery Clinical Placements, to the development, implementation and review of health education and learning practices, processes and systems and facilitates the delivery on Better Placed objectives and requirements for SA Health's Clinical Placement framework.The incumbent plays a significant role in the development and daily operations of the Better Placed program including the use of the Placeright Clinical Placement management system.This is a part-time role, and we are looking for someone with clinical experience in student education in a health setting, knowledge of health education and knowledge of using computer systems and placement management software.The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working part-time.
