We have an opening for a Senior Clinical Research Associate to join our ANZ team. From research to real-life situations, J&J has a long track record for developing innovative devices that save lives and improve the quality of life. Our Clinical Research Team has responsibility for the clinical trials (phase I-IV) run across Australia and New Zealand including other data generation activities to support R&D and Medical Affairs. This new role will be involved in early phase trials testing exciting new technologies in a critical care environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive activities within site initiation and start-up, preparation and conduct of site monitoring (including remote monitoring), site management (by study specific systems and other reports/dashboards) and site/study close-out. Depending on level of prior experience may assume project management responsibilities.
- Manage site level recruitment strategies, prioritize case planning and implementation in partnership with other functional areas.
- Ensure site staff are trained and the corresponding training records are complete and accurate at any point during all trial phases.
- Effective communication of trial information to/from Investigators, study coordinators and Project Managers
ITS ALL ABOUT YOU
- A minimum of a BA or BS degree in Life Sciences, Nursing or related scientific field (or equivalent experience)
- A minimum of 5 years clinical trial monitoring experience is required; however, other significant experiences and skills may be considered by the hiring manager when considering the candidate's eligibility.
- Proven success as a SCRA.
- Excellent communication, written and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of company SOPs, local laws and regulations and assigned protocols.
- Detailed working knowledge of GCP and local regulatory guidelines.
- Proficient in using appropriate IT software applications and company systems,
- Travel with occasional overnight stay away from home (depending on SCRA location), valid driver's license.
- Experience in complex therapeutic areas would be helpful.
