This award-winning, ASX listed group is looking for a talented engineer with skills across areas such as frontend (or backend) development, devops (pipeline development, containerisation), networking, Linux, test engineering, and application deployment in the cloud.
This might suit a senior software engineer with recent devops / cloud experience, or a devops / SRE engineer interested in doing more development work.
Responsibilities include providing production support for flagship SaaS applications, designing and developing new cloud features, working with other software engineering teams to develop cutting edge technical advances, test engineering, code reviews, and collaborating with product and engineering teams in areas such as scaling, architecture and evolving technologies.
Essential:
- Familiarity with one or more development languages such as JavaScript, Typescript, React, C++, Rust, Go, Python
- A strong Linux background
- Experience with CI/CD development and maintenance
- Understanding of networking technologies and protocols
- Experience transitioning products to the cloud
- Experience troubleshooting live production code issues
- Superior communication and problem solving skills
- A computer science or equivalent degree
